UPDATE AS OF JANUARY 1, 2024 FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE:

U.S. PASSPORT PROCESSING TIME IS TAKING 6-8 WEEKS FOR REGULAR SERVICE AND 2-3 WEEKS FOR EXPEDITE SERVICE.  PLEASE ALLOW AMPLE TIME TO APPLY FOR YOUR U.S. PASSPORT IF TRAVELING WITHIN THE 12-18 MONTHS.

The Village of Norridge makes it convenient to apply for a United States Passport. You will need to provide the following items when you submit your application:

PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP, PROOF OF IDENTITY, A PASSPORT PHOTO, PASSPORT FEES

To keep the cost of the passport down, it’s best to apply several months before your planned trip.

A routine passport application is currently processed within 6-8 weeks.

Our passport representatives are available by appointment only:

Monday thru Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and

Saturday from 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

A routine processed adult passport (16yrs & older) is $130.00 per passport; a child’s passport (15yrs & under) is $100.00 per passport. Both parents must be present with the child or children to process a child’s passport. To renew a child’s passport, both the expired passport and their birth certificate are required. All birth certificates must be state-issued from Vital Statistics.

The passport fee is divided into two parts: (1.) A check or money order made out to the U.S. Department of State for the amount appropriate for the service requested; and (2.) The execution fee, payable to the Village by Cash or Credit Card in the amount of $35.00 per passport.
