HOMETOWN HERO VETERANS BANNER PROGRAM

The Village of Norridge is proud of its Hometown Hero Veterans Banner
Program, recognizing current and former Norridge residents who served in a
branch of the United States military.

The program was started in 2024 and will continue for years to come.

By filling out an application and submitting
a high resolution digital photo, we will create a banner to be displayed in town.

Banners will be hung each year from mid-May to mid-November.

There is no cost to participate in the program.

Please visit the Hometown Hero Veterans Banner Program page for more information, including the application.

MEMORIAL DAY SERVICES

The committee was founded to recognize and honor the men and women who have served and are currently serving our country through their military service. The event is usually held on the Sunday before Memorial Day.

Committee members have served in various branches of the military and we pledge to continue to honor those veterans who have served and those who are now serving. We especially pay homage to those who have paid the ultimate price for their service to our country.
